Dr. Alexander
Wlodawer
On May 19, 2005, Dr. Alexander
Wlodawer, Chief of the Macromolecular Cystallography Laboratory,
Center for Cancer Research, NCI, was elected a foreign member of
the Polish
Academy of Sciences. Dr. Wlodawer is the second foreign
crystallographer for this honor, the first being Nobel
Laureate
Herbert Hauptman. The award ceremony took place on June 25,
2005, during the Fourth
International Conference on Inhibitors of Protein Kinases.
Congratulations!
