RapA, a Swi2/Snf2 protein that recycles RNA polymerase during transcription, may bind to and translocate on dsDNA (Shaw, Gan, Zhou, Zhi, Subburaman, Zhang, Joachimiak, Jin and Ji. Structure 2008; 16:1417-1427. Full Text). The RapA•ATP•dsDNA model suggests a role of domain 2B in ATP-binding-associated advancement of dsDNA for Swi2/Snf2 protreins.
