Contiguous binding surface for the BoxA-BoxB RNA. Superposition of the crystal structures of NusB-NusE-BoxA (PDB: 3R2C) and NusB-NusE-dsRNA (PDB: 3R2D) reveals the contiguous binding regions for BoxA and dsRNA. The protein surface representation is colored by vacuum-electrostatic potential (red, negative; blue, positive), which depicts the BoxA- and dsRNA-binding sites as a contiguous positively-charged surface (Jason Stagno et al. Nucl. Acids Res. 39:7803-7815, 2011. PubMed: 21652641).
